To support its growing fleet of electric company cars and visitors’ EVs, this German factory installed a hybrid charging node combining wall‑mounted 22 kW Mode 3 AC chargers for regular top‑ups and a 40 kW DC fast charger for quick turn‑arounds.

  • Fleet Management Ready – OCPP backend issues monthly usage reports per RFID badge for precise cost allocation across departments.
  • Balanced Site Load – dynamic current management keeps total draw within the plant’s spare transformer capacity, avoiding costly upgrades.
  • Future‑Expandable – spare conduits and pre‑wired breaker space allow easy scaling to higher‑power DC modules as vehicle mix evolves.
